Why Soy?
- Soy wax is an all-natural, renewable
- Resource, derived from the soybean plant. We use 100% soybean wax, no additives.
- Soot is very unhealthy & should be avoided. Soy wax is naturally a cleaner burning wax. This, along with the quality of Senses Soy Candles, produces a virtually soot-free candle when wick is properly maintained.
- Soy wax is a cooler burning wax; therefore, soy candles last much longer than paraffin candles.
- Soy wax spills are easy to clean with hot soapy water. It is very difficult to remove paraffin wax from furniture or textiles.
- Scented soy candles are more fragrant. The soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle, which translates into cooler, safer burning candles and faster scent dispersion.
- Soy wax is 100% bio-degradable.
- Soy wax is a domestic product produced by US farmers. By purchasing soy wax candles as opposed to paraffin, a by-product of crude oil, we can lessen our dependence on foreign oil supplies.
